Noontime show host gifts herself a Toyota Super Grandia

MANILA: Noontime show host Ryzza Mae Dizon recently bought a brand-new Toyota Super Grandia. 

The Eat-Bulaga mainstay posted on her social media account her new van, complete with a big red bow, captioned: “big girl purchase,” “thank you Lord.”

For those interested in what her new ride offers, here are the specifications of the Toyota Super Grandia.

With large proportions, the Toyota Super Grandia offers good road presence. 

At the fore are bi-beam headlamps with integrated turn signals and an automatic leveling device. It also has front fog lamps to give better visibility. 

These lights flank the van’s large chrome grille, topped with the Toyota emblem at the center. It even has a sharp-looking front bumper with horizontal air vents for added character. 

Her vehicle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 235-series tires. It has a sliding door, chrome-finished side mirrors, and side sills (as well as front and rear bumpers) painted in light bronze, as Dizon’s finish of choice is Luxury Pearl Toning. 

At the back is a roof-mounted spoiler, L-shaped lamps, and a large tailgate.

Amenities 

Inside — where Dizon will likely spend plenty of her time — are various creature comfort amenities. 

The second-row (and third–row) seats are wrapped in quilted leather and are in a Captain’s chair layout. They have four-way power adjust with an ottoman feature, allowing the television personality to rest in between shoots. 

With 21 cup and bottle holders, Dizon will not run out of space to keep refreshments while on the road. There are also plenty of USB chargers on board, so she can juice up her devices without relying on portable power banks. Three room lamps will help out with cabin visibility at night. 

Keeping the occupants cool is an automatic climate control system with Nano-E. 

Finally, passengers can keep themselves engaged with an infotainment system with six speakers. Connecting smartphones to the eight-inch center screen is possible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. 

For the driver, a multi-information display with a 4.2-inch thin-film transistor is available for delivering relevant information. Hands will rest on a steering wheel with leather and wood trims, while one’s posterior will rest on a leather seat with six-way power adjust for convenience.

Powertrain, chassis 

Power for the Toyota Super Grandia comes from a 2.8-liter diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Halts and deceleration are facilitated by ventilated discs all around. For suspension, the van is fitted with McPherson struts and four-link coil springs. 

On that note, it has enough power to haul and carry 10 persons with a few pieces of luggage. Traveling from home to the set can be accomplished by the Toyota Super Grandia without breaking a sweat.
