Isuzu PH delivers Traviz L units to Lambunao LGU

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has formally turned over 20 examples of Traviz L to the Municipality of Lambunao in Iloilo. 

Set to be deployed for each barangay, every unit will be utilized based on its most urgent needs, ensuring more responsive and efficient service to constituents. 

Per IPC, the vehicles — delivered by Isuzu Iloilo — will support emergency response and disaster relief operations, community projects, delivery of basic services and supplies, transport of barangay personnel, outreach activities, and logistics for health and public service programs.

Spearheading the handover ceremonies were IPC Vice President for Sales Shunsuke Yasui, Isuzu Iloilo Branch Manager Vanessa Lutero, and Lambunao Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Chairman Mary Floridette Yu.

“This turnover highlights Isuzu Philippines’ long-standing commitment to uplifting local communities by supporting their essential operations daily. With the Isuzu TRAVIZ, dependable mobility is now more accessible to each barangay. We are confident that these units will make a positive impact by strengthening public service operations - whether in emergency response, health programs, or community initiatives,” IPC Vice President for Sales Shunsuke Yasui said.

All the units that the local government unit had are fitted with the potent 4JA1 Blue Power 2.5-liter, diesel-fed engine. This mill delivers up to 77 horsepower and 176.5 Newton-meters of torque. This mill is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Its creature comforts include:

• Tuner radio with USB connected to two speakers
• Reverse warning buzzer
• Air-conditioning system (optional)

Further, the Isuzu Traviz L has a payload capacity of 1,655 kilograms.

Wearing a standard price tag of P1.14 million, the Isuzu Traviz L is packaged with a 36-month warranty or 100,000 kilometers — whichever comes first.

“The Municipality of Lambunao welcomes the addition of the 20 Isuzu Traviz L units. These vehicles will greatly enhance the efficiency of our frontline teams. By equipping our barangays with dependable transport, we can better respond to community needs — from health and social services to emergency and logistical requirements,” Yu was quoted as saying.
