Subaru unveils limited-edition “Series.Yellow” WRX, BRZ
Subaru debuts the ultra-limited Series.Yellow versions of the WRX and BRZ.
MANILA: Subaru has unveiled the limited edition “Series.Yellow” trims of the BRZ two-door coupe and the WRX sport compact sedan.

The Subaru WRX and BRZ Series.Yellow’s color is called Sunrise Yellow.The two were showcased at the 2025 Boxerfest in Pennsylvania, USA, and per their names, they sport a lively Sunrise Yellow exterior paint job paired with choice upgrades for the interiors and mechanical components.
Mechanical enhancements
To note, the two nameplates are based on their respective standard tS variants. The WRX Series.Yellow retains its 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer four engine with an output of 271 horsepower (hp), while the BRZ still utilizes a 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated boxer-four that can put out 224 hp.
The two also come with high-performance Brembo brakes and dampers specially tuned by Subaru Technica International (STI).

Exclusive for the Series.Yellow WRX is a set of 19-inch matte black alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires. The Series.Yellow BRZ, on the other hand, uses a set of 18-inch matte black alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires.
The Subaru Series.Yellow models both come with six-speed manual transmissions. The WRX, of course, is an all-wheel-drive model, whereas the BRZ is a rear-wheel-drive nameplate.
Interior upgrades
While both retain the standard amenities found on their tS counterparts, both also get yellow high-contrast stitching on their seats, instrument panels, and interior door cards.
Notably, the WRX comes with yellow-accented perforations on its Recaro Performance Design front seats.

Availability
The Subaru WRX and BRZ Series.Yellow models both come with an ultra-limited production run of 350 units each. With that said, seeing it introduced for the Philippine market is highly unlikely.
Also, Subaru's website indicates that the two models will be released next year. No pricing details for the two rides were shared for now.
In the Philippines, the standard trims of the Subaru WRX (except the manual transmission tS) are available locally with a price ranging from P2.788 million-P3.168 million.
The locally available Subaru BRZ, meanwhile, has a price ranging from P2.609 million-P2.719 million.
