Suzuki collabs with CAPCOM to showcase GSX-8R in Street Fighter 6

MANILA: Suzuki Motor Corporation has partnered up with Japanese game development company CAPCOM to promote the GSX-8R inside the digital world of “Street Fighter 6.”

Specifically, the said partnership will highlight the “Suzuki GSX-8R Tuned by Juri” - a one-off custom motorcycle that was unveiled back in 2025. It features the menacing black and purple colors of Juri Han - a vicious female fighter with an intense personality. 

To bring the bike inside Street Fighter 6, a 3D-rendered replica will be displayed inside the fighting game’s “Battle Hub” multiplayer game mode. All players can also acquire the Suzuki GSX-8R Tuned by Juri as an avatar item through the game’s “news” section. 

More Juri Han and Suzuki GSX-8R-themed in-game banners and title cards can be claimed from the Street Fighter 6 news section as well. 

Last but not least is a Challenger Screen featuring art depicting Juri Han riding her uniquely colored GSX-8R.  

Players who are interested in the in-game collaboration between Suzuki and CAPCOM can acquire these items between February 13-March 17, 2026. 

Superfans of Juri Han, the Suzuki GSX-8R, Street Fighter 6, or all three, can likewise get these digital goods a bit earlier if they have collected the digital stickers distributed at the “CAPCOM CUP 11 / Street Fighter League: World Championship 2024,” “Tokyo Game Show 2025,” or “Street Fighter League: Pro‑JP 2025 Grand Final.” Sticker distribution for all these events started a few days ago, on February 6, 2026.

Suzuki GSX-8R: specs, features

In the Philippine market, the Suzuki GSX-8R has a starting price set at P699,000. The said two-wheeler’s locally available version is available in Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Matte Black. 

Propelling the GSX-8R is a 776 cubic-centimeter (CC), four-stroke, two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, double overhead cam (DOHC) engine paired with a six-speed constant mesh transmission. 

At the moment, Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) has yet to disclose the model’s peak horsepower and torque figures. It does, however, use an oil-damped telescopic front fork and a rear link-type oil-damped coil spring suspension system. The model's stopping power is provided by a front double-disc and rear single-disc setup.
