Will the all-new Aerox show up at Yamaha Motorshow 2025?

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) is set to conduct this year’s edition of the Yamaha Motorshow, which could serve as the possible launch pad for the highly-anticipated all-new Aerox.

In a statement, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer’s local distributor said that the comebacking event motorcycle event will revolve around “The Edge of Speed” — an electrifying showcase of speed and high-performance, set against the backdrop of Yamaha’s unmatched legacy in the world of top-notch machines.

Last year, YMPH took multiple Guinness World Record Titles for the largest motorcycle parade, most horns sounded, and engines started simultaneously.   

“This year’s showcase will be the ultimate evolution of Yamaha’s performance-driven philosophy, a true testament to the brand’s relentless pursuit of excellence, combining world-class engineering with a thrilling spectacle of raw power and precision,” YMPH said in a statement.

Further, Zigwheels Philippines is expecting that the anticipated upcoming version of the Aerox might be revealed at the event — although YMPH still has yet to confirm.

To recall, the team received a video clip that showed what could possibly be the automatic transmission motorcycle's forthcoming offering for the local market.

The sender of the spy shot (who requested anonymity) shared that the footage was taken in a racetrack here in the country.

“Mukhang Aerox V3 yung susunod na ilalaunch ng Yamaha Motor Philippines dito sa’tin. Tinetest na nila dito eh, (It looks like the next thing that Yamaha Motor Philippines will launch here is an all-new Aerox. They are testing it here already), the sharer of the video noted.
