Yamaha Motor PH to introduce all-new Aerox?

MANILA: The latest version of the Yamaha Aerox might be introduced to the Philippine market soon.

Such a speculation is backed up by a spy shot shared to Zigwheels Philippines recently (seen below), which indicates its possible launch in the coming months.

The sender of the video (who requested anonymity) shared that the footage was taken in a racetrack here in the country.

“Mukhang Aerox V3 yung susunod na ilalaunch ng Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) dito sa’tin. Tinetest na nila dito eh, (It looks like the next thing that Yamaha Motor Philippines will launch here is an all-new Aerox. They are testing it here already), the sharer of the video noted.

Though blurry, the video showed that the motorcycle’s fascia resembles the one available in Indonesia.

Aside from that, a certain AeroxMalakas posted a video from a seemingly exclusive local event, showing a rider and what could be the latest version of the said automatic transmission motorcycle.

Probable specifications

Here are some specifications as seen in the website of the brand’s Indonesian arm.

On paper, the latest Yamaha Aerox in the Indonesian market tapes in at 1,980 millimeters (mm) long; 710 mm wide; and x 1,170 mm tall — with a 1,350-mm wheelbase and 145-mm ground clearance.

So, while waiting for YMPH to confirm its possible launch, here’s what you can find in the currently-retailed Aerox in the country.
