Twin-cab pickups are very popular in the Philippines and the Mazda BT-50 is a capable performer. The vehicle looks bold from every angle. Equipped with a turbocharged 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder diesel engine, the BT-50 is a great hauler. The response is slow at first, but as you shift up the gears, the vehicle shows its true form. The torque delivery is impressive and the engine returns a decent mileage of around 10kmpl. In the riding and handling department, maneuvering the car somewhat makes it lean on the heavier side. But its turning radius is smaller than its competitors. It has great cargo hauling capacity.
