Here are some VF 6 benefits, according to VinFast PH

MANILA: VinFast Philippines presented the VF 6 to Filipino car buyers at the recently held Manila International Auto Show.

On that note, the local subsidiary of the Vietnamese electric car maker highlighted the advantages of its newest offering and underscored its position as an attractive entree into sustainable driving.

Below are the points noted by VinFast Philippines:

Safety

The VinFast VF 6 comes with 20 advanced driver-assist system features, some of which we have listed below:

• Adaptive cruise control
• Lane keeping assist
• Collision warnings

Per the auto brand, the said technologies can reduce driver fatigue, particularly useful for the typical lengthy commutes, which it pointed out, are no rarity in Metro Manila and surrounding urban centers.

Space

Inside, the VinFast VF 6 offers a generous space for its occupants.

VinFast Philippines said that those who have sat in the cabin of the vehicle often remark that it feels more spacious than its compact exterior suggests.

The VinFast VF 6’s wheelbase stretches to 2,730 millimeters — longer than some C-segment competitors — allowing for more comfortable seating.

Likewise, the company also stated that the suspension strikes a good balance between stability and comfort, particularly on pothole-riddled roads.

Tech

The centerpiece of the VinFaast VF 6’s cabin is a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that allows smartphone integration.

It supports remotely checking battery status, locating the car, and pre-conditioning the interior temperature, which can be considered useful given the Philippines’ tropical climate.

Range

According to VinFast Philippines, the VF 6 has an estimated range of around 480 kilometers, making it an ideal pick for eco-conscious city dwellers. Further, the said all-electric range is suitable for some out-of-town trips.

VinFast is also developing around 1,500 charging points in 2025, which means that electric car owners can go further distances where battery-powered vehicle charging is allowed.

Maintenance

The carmaker also explained that with the VinFast VF 6, the cost of vehicle maintenance can be reduced significantly since the car does not have the same oil requirements as its combustion engine-powered counterparts.

Warranty

To further strengthen its value proposition, VinFast Philippines offers a seven-year or up to 160,000 kilometers warranty (whichever comes first) for the VF 6.

It has also entered strategic partnerships with local automotive service providers such as Motech and JIGA to establish 100 authorized service centers nationwide by the end of 2025.

Variants, pricing

In the Philippines, the VinFast VF 6 comes in two trims: Eco (priced at P1.419 million) and Plus (at P1.61 million).

Both are complemented by an attractive buyback guarantee offering up to 90 percent of the vehicle’s original value.

Deliveries of the VF 6 Eco in the Philippines are expected to start this month.
