2018 Nissan GT-R now gets more affordable in the Philippines

MANILA: We have some good news for those who have been eyeing to buy an iconic sports car. Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) just announced the price drop of the latest iteration of GT-R, i.e., “Godzilla”.

With new pricing comes with a whopping difference of Php 675,000, Nissan made GT-R marginally affordable for many JDM enthusiasts. The previous version of the Nissan GT-R was originally priced at Php 7,350,000. Now, as the excise tax took effect on the Godzilla, the 2018 model is available at a price of just Php 6,675,000. This new price is only applicable to the Premium lineup, not on the 2018 Nismo 3.8 V6 variant.

The engine in Nissan GT-R is ideally sized and mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission with three selectable driving modes. There is no slouch when it pushes out 570 PS and 637 Nm of peak torque, as it is powered by the same base V6 engine. The GT-R not only built to perform but it also sculpts the air to its need. It also possesses an intense running with Nissan’s ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive.

The other premium and standard equipment include a Bilstein Damptronic, Nissan-Brembo braking unit, a titanium exhaust system, and 20-inch RAYS forged-alloy rims that boost the performance up to the great level.

The GT-R has several luxury amenities inside the cabin that makes the model more captivated. There is a Bose audio system with 11 speakers and dual subwoofers for the in-cabin entertainment. The occupants can sit on the leather-appointed seats with synthetic suede inserts. Features like Nissan’s Hard Drive Navigation system with 7-inch display, Active Sound Enhancement (ASE), Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and dual-zone automatic climate control add more comfort to the interior.

As the result is more affordable, innovative, and engaging with the dropped price, buyers can now opt the 2018 Nissan GT-R more easily.
