All-new Toyota RAV4 to be unveiled tomorrow

MANILA: Toyota Motor Corporation has confirmed the arrival of the all-new RAV4, which will be unveiled tomorrow, May 21. 

Zigwheels Philippines reported that the Japanese carmaker is gearing up for a new model launch and suspected that it will be its iconic crossover. 

Teaser photos were revealed by Toyota, showcasing some of its exterior features. 

Its latest iteration appears to wear the brand’s new headlamp design, which can be found on the new Toyota Camry. The fascia also looks like it’s wearing a more rugged grille with a mesh wire design. 

Blacked-out claddings on its wheel arches signal its capability for outdoor adventures, while the neatly tucked roof-mounted spoiler indicates some level of sportiness. 

Finally, the monotone wheels wraps up the combination of athleticism and ruggedness quite nicely. 

No photos of the vehicle’s interior were released, but fans need not wait long since the car will be presented via a livestream from 9 to 9:15 a.m. You can watch the video through the link, here. 

Toyota RAV4 in PH 

The Toyota RAV4 nameplate has had its last update in 2022 in the form of its hybrid iteration. 

Locally, it is offered in two variants — both powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor and a continuously variable transmission.  

Its electrified powertrain can dish out the following numbers:
