Hyundai’s roof-less Santa Fe SUV revealed

MANILA: The Hyundai Santa Fe appears to be the first convertible 7-seater SUV. Recently the revealed its pre-production model. However, it is used for only promotional purpose. The revised SUV has surprised the world with the all-new four-door seven-seater convertible body style.

Till date, there has been a fewer number of open-top cars produced such as the Range Rover Evoque, Nissan CrossCabriolet, etc. And now it seems like Hyundai is also looking forward to being enlisted here by introducing the Santa Fe Cabriolet.

The spotted Hyundai Santa Fe is a pre-production model which is made to be used for the promotional purpose by the company. Based on the first look, the seven-seater SUV appears to be one of the most trendy and boldly-designed productions. The top has been cut down only to reveal the well-styled interior which is indeed lovely. It is basically not a convertible SUV as it doesn’t have the mechanism for the roof to be set open or closed.

The present Santa Fe has only been introduced back in February 2018 and has an engine power of 200 PS at 3,800 rpm and a 441 Nm of maximum torque. The power is sent down to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed automatic (H-Matic) transmission system.

It rides on the 18-inch alloy wheel with 235/60 tyres. At the front, there are ventilated disc brake system while the rear has solid disc units. The front MacPherson Strut suspension render a better firmness while driving. The rear Multi-Link suspension creates satisfying compartment space which results in a more comfortable drive. The Santa Fe is already available in the Philippines.

Unfortunately, a lot of the specifications of the car hasn’t been known yet. But the exterior can be termed as a classic renovation from the company, which is a more aggressive and sportier to take the beholder by surprise.
