Jetour Auto PH enjoys 67% YoY sales growth in 2024

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) has enjoyed a retail performance in 2024 after selling 1,702 units — reflecting a 67-percent growth rate year-on-year.

In a statement, the local distributor of Chery’s subsidiary shared that its sales for last year was mostly driven by the Jetour T2 as the nameplate contributed 32.01 percent of the marque’s overall output.

To recall, Jetour 4x4 was locally unveiled in March 2024. It was followed by the introduction of the model’s Terminator Edition, which was unveiled at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show last October.

JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose attributed the company’s success to its all-out initiative to “expand and enhance the brand’s presence and market engagement.”

“The year 2024 was all about stepping up our digital and traditional marketing efforts, cross-industry partnerships, sales programs, aftersales, and dealer support systems to complement our current lineup and the introduction of new models,” Jose said.

“Jetour vehicles are in and of themselves designed and engineered to world-class standards. We’re here to ensure that every vehicle becomes an integral part of the Filipino mobility ownership and lifestyle experience,” he added.

Further, Jose also announced that it will bring forth new models in the country, which will cover the following categories:

• Hybrid
• Plug-in hybrid

Additionally, Jose noted that it will expand its dealer network, forge more partnerships and launch a series of sales promos and special display events.

Aside from the Jetour T2, JAPI is also offering the Philippine market the X70 (in Journey, Travel, Sport, and Plus trims), Dashing (Standard, Symphony, and Lightning i-DM PHEV options), X50, and Ice Cream.
