JMS 2025 'successful', organizers claim

MANILA: This year’s Japan Mobility Show (JMS) has concluded on a high note — with more than one million individuals visiting the 12-day event.

The aforementioned claim came via a statement from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Incorporated chaired by Masanori Katayama, describing the much-awaited motoring event a success.

Aside from the huge volume of visitors coming to Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Koto-ku, the JMS 2025 also had a total of 522 companies and organizations taking part in the show.

“We take this opportunity to express its deepest gratitude to the show’s visitors, exhibitors, and all other parties involved for their support,” the organizers noted.

“Mobility is more than just a means of transportation. It has moved people emotionally and shaped memories and values. Precisely because we live in uncertain times, we will continue to join hands across diverse industries to deliver hope for a brighter future powered by mobility,” it added.

Here are the numbers at the recently-concluded JMS 2025.

• Tokyo Future Tour 2035: Approximately 311,000 visitors

• Mobility Culture Program: Approximately 346,000 visitors
• Mirai Mobility Maker app downloads: Cumulative 10,855 users
• Social Media Impact:
  • 483,858 posts were generated across social platforms
  • JAMA's own posts generated 53 million impressions
• “Out of KidZania in Japan Mobility Show 2025”: Over 26,906 participants
• JMS official app downloads: 239,667

Highlights

Among the highlights during the event were the public displays of the recently-revealed Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, Honda Prelude and 0 series (which are set to arrive in the Philippines), as well as the launching of the Fuso H2FC and H2IC and “Cobodi” cargo system prototypes.

The motoring spectacle also revealed the concept versions from Lexus,  the next-generation Hiace, and the Century as an ultra-luxe brand.

Aside from that, the event-goers also saw the debut of the Japan-exclusive next-generation Nissan Elgrand, the all-electric BYD Racco kei car, and T35 light-duty truck.

To note, the event was held last October 29-November 9, 2025.
