Kia PH eyes to capture more style-conscious drivers with Sonet K-Style Edition launch

MANILA: Kia Philippines has just released a limited-run option for the Sonet.

Exclusive to just 150 units, the newly-introduced Kia Sonet K-Style Edition comes with even more portions inspired by modern aesthetics to capture more drivers who are style conscious. The vehicle is priced at P1.158 million.

 According to the ACMobility-led distributor, the latest offering’s name reflects Kia’s heritage and design philosophy: “K” for its Korean roots, and “Style” for its expressive design, capturing the individuality and creativity of today’s generation.

“The Kia Sonet K-Style celebrates the vibrant energy of today’s new generation of drivers,” Kia Philippines Managing Director Jose Marie Lopez said.

“It's designed for those who want their first car to reflect their individuality, expressive, confident, and ready for new adventures, while embodying Kia’s understanding of what young drivers value most,” he added.

Additional aesthetics

Offered in limited hue options, the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition can be had in Sparkling Silver and Aurora Black. Each palette is matched with contrasting 16-inch alloy wheels, (black wheels for silver units and silver wheels for black models).

Notable appliques that guarantee a youthful appearance includes a unique K-Style side decal.

Powertrain, amenities

Under the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition’s hood is still the 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission.

Meanwhile, its cabin features a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, and an electric sunroof. Other comfort features that can be found in the vehicle are

• Remote Keyless Entry
• Remote Engine Start

Further, the crossover is also equipped with the Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver assistance technologies that comes with cruise control, lane keep assist, lane following assist, and forward collision-avoidance assist.

Similar to the other Kia models in the Philippines, the Sonet K-Style Edition is packaged with a five-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty.

Lastly, Kia Philippines encourages prospective buyers to visit their nearest showroom at the earliest opportunity to secure their unit and confirm availability while supplies last.
