Lexus PH to showcase GX, RX F Sport, and NX F Sport starting this weekend at Powerplant Mall

MANILA: Lexus shall showcase “design, performance, and innovation” anew beginning this weekend at the Powerplant Mall in Makati, City.

According to the Japanese premium automaker’s arm in the country guests are invited to visit its display area that can be found in the mall’s North Court area on October 3-9.

Aside from that, customers are also encouraged to get behind the wheel of the following Lexus sport utility vehicles that will be highlighted at the event:

• GX
• RX F Sport
• NX F Sport

Here are some details about the three models that will share the spotlight.

GX specifications

Engineered to take on both rugged terrain and the city streets, the massive Lexus GX commands attention thanks to its rugged look and the matching spindle grille.

Its cabin (in two- or three-row form) is tailored with premium materials to ensure that everyone is cocooned in comfort and luxury.

Further, the Lexus GX is powered by a six-cylinder, V type, 24-valve, double overhead cam, 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that can dish out:

Maximum output (in horsepower [hp>)	349
Peak torque (in Newton-meters [Nm>)	650

This powertrain combination lets the vehicle go 0-100 kilometers per hour in seven seconds flat and hit a top speed of up to 175 kph.

Available in two trims namely Overtrail and Premier, the pricing of the Lexus GX ranges from P7.698 million all the way to P8.588 million.

RX F Sport bits

Meanwhile, the Lexus RX F Sport crossover boasts aerodynamic silhouette that matches overall contemporary design.

Inside, the crossover features Tazuna-inspired cockpit (Japanese term for using reins to control a horse) with ergonomics in mind.

Aside from that, the model is also outfitted with F Sport trim and seats that hug the driver and passengers and 14-inch infotainment with Wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto connectivity matched to a 21- Speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound configuration.

Under its hood is an in-line four, 2.4-liter turbocharged mill with Direct4 hybrid electric system that has the capability to give 366 horses.

The Lexus RX F Sport carries a P6.468-million price tag.

NX Sport details

Lastly, the Lexus NX Sport comes with a robust grille, smooth body lines and curves that complement its athletic persona.

Propelling the vehicle is a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that is ready to churn out:

Maximum output (in hp)	279
Peak torque (in Nm)	430

Power is sent to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic slushbox.

Guaranteeing controllability and comfort are the sport-oriented suspensions and upgraded dampers.

F Sport seats, ambient lighting, premium materials, and a 15-inch touchscreen system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity are present in the compact crossover’s interior.

The price of the Lexus NX Sport is at P4.888 million.
