MG motors to strengthen aftersales services in the Philippines

The British automobile manufacturer, MG Motors has announced that it is going to strengthen the aftersales services by the opening of fully-functioning dealerships in the Philippines. The carmaker also assures the availability of spare parts for all MG nameplates purchased from authorized dealerships.

The carmaker will open six dealerships soon, which are MG Commonwealth, MG Alabang, MG Pampanga, MG Quezon Avenue, MG Cabanatuan, MG Makati, and MG Iloilo. There are two regional sales offices opened as well that are MG Iloilo and MG Cabanatuan. Also, there are already nine functional service centres, MG BF Parañaque, MG Batangas, MG EDSA Centris, MG Carmona, MG Lipa, MG Dasmariñas, MG Sta. MG Cebu-Mandaue, MG Davao and Rosa.

President and CEO of MG Philippines-TCCCI, Alberto B. Arcilla said, “Our initiative is to provide innovative and customer-centric services to our clients, as we recognize that aftersales is a cornerstone of our business here at MG Philippines,” He also added, “Through our many aftersales complements, we want to make customers feel at ease with their purchase. Likewise, our aftersales services are designed and implemented to create a sense of confidence among our patrons, reassuring them that they made the right choice with MG Philippines.”

MG Motors has also introduced three aftersales approaches apart from expanding the dealer network. These are the My MG app, the official launch of the Mobile Garage service caravan and availability of all spare parts for the MG models bought from the authorized dealerships.

The My MG App is currently available only for Android users and allows planning vehicle servicing appointments. Additionally, the user can choose the dealer of their choice. It also helps the user to make inquiries for the product, find the map for service centres and dealerships and also to schedule test drives. The app can also be used as a virtual garage that helps to keep records of the orderly list of the clients’ vehicles and their maintenance history.

On the other hand, the Mobile Garage Service Caravan offers to provide the carmaker’s aftersales service support as per the customer’s convenient location.
