Mitsubishi Motors PH shares vehicles to 3 schools

MANILA: To express its commitment to education and skills development, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recently gave vehicles to three academic institutions in the country.

The schools that received the donated units — comprised of one Mirage G4 GLX M/T and two L300 M/T units — were Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU)-Siniloan campus, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU)-Balanga campus, and Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST)-GMA campus. 

To note, the subcompact sedan is priced at P769,000 while the commercial vehicle has a starting price of P825,000.

Receiving the units from MMPC from Chairman Noriaki Hirakata and President and Chief Executive Officer Ritsu Imaeda during the ceremonial turnover of units at the MMPC Sta. Rosa facility were university leaders Dr. Mario Briones (LSPU), Dr. Rowena Valerio (BPSU), and Dr. Rogelio Mamaradlo (EARIST).

Deans, faculty members, and automotive technology students from the aforementioned institutions were also present at the event.

Per MMPC, the donated vehicles will be used for hands-on training in automotive technology programs. The said initiative aligns with the brand’s global philosophy, "Drive Your Ambition" — represents its dedication to empowering individuals and communities to achieve their goals through innovation and collaboration.

“At Mitsubishi Motors, we believe in nurturing future automotive professionals by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. These vehicles will serve as an essential part of their learning journey”, Hirakata was quoted as saying.

This donation is part of MMPC’s continuous efforts to support education and workforce development in the Philippines. By strengthening partnerships with educational institutions, MMPC aims to contribute to the growth of the automotive industry and create more opportunities for aspiring professionals.
