‘New’ PH-spec Mitsubishi Mirage G4 gets price bump

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has updated the locally-produced Mirage G4 and it comes with a bump in pricing.

The pricing of the subcompact sedan’s latest iteration ranges between P793,000-P937,000 (depending on the trim) — reflecting a relatively-substantial increase compared to the P769,000-P899,000-price tag that the previous edition carried in 2021.

To note, even the model’s limited-edition trim that was unveiled last year was only sold for P909,000.

However, as mentioned, the  increase in the model’s pricing came with minor but notable upgrades.

Here’s what car buyers will get with the new Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

Vehicle updates

While the look is pretty much the same, the 2025 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 — which carries the tagline “Everyday Made Stylish” — is fitted with exterior enhancements made up of:

• LED projector headlights and tail lamps (for mid and top-level variants)
• New machine-finished, two-tone alloy wheel design across all options

Further, the spruced-up model also gets additional standard safety features such as:

• Hill start Assist
• Active stability control

Meanwhile, the new Mirage G4 kept the 1.2-liter gasoline-fed engine with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system under its hood. This powertrain can dish out a peak of:

Maximum output (in horsepower)	76.4
Peak torque (in Newton-meters)	100

The said churn is sent to the front wheels via its five-speed manual or continuous variable transmission.

Aside from the mill, the refreshed Mitsubishi Mirage G4 maintained these technologies:

• Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity (wired) for its infotainment system
• 450-liter trunk space
• Keyless operation system, remote key with trunk opener, backing-up camera, and automatic climate control — all available solely for the top-of-the-line option
• Dual airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution as standard safety features across all variants

Offered in four exterior colors namely Titanium Gray Metallic, Red Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Solid (the last hue available via order basis), the new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is retailed in the following variations:

• GLX MT: P793,000
• GLX CVT: P841,000
• GLS CVT: P937,000
