Mitsubishi XM Crossover Concept Showcased At PIMS 2016

MANILA: The concept which has turned many heads at the GIIAS 2016 in Indonesia is now all set to make Filipinos go crazy in the on going PIMS 2016. To enter production in 2017, Mitsubishi XM Crossover Concept has been finally staged at the 6th Philippine International Motor Show. It is expected that the production model will be 80% similar to the concept version. Looking closely at the concept showcased by Mitsubishi, it is quite similar to the eX Concept which was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015.

The showcased concept has some unique facts associated with it which start with its naming XM, when bifurcated, X represents crossover while M represents MPV. The concept is based on the philosophy of providing the versatility of an MPV with capabilities of an SUV. Mitsubishi XM concept also holds the new Dynamic Shield design of the company, which you can also witness on the recently launched ASX in the PIMS 2016. Under the hood, it is expected to feature a 1.5-litre petrol mill but, we are not sure whether it will be also coupled with an AWD system or not.

The 3-spoke steering wheel with multimedia control, glass roof, automatic climate control and white interior accented by gray trim are some features that are revealed about the staged concept of Mitsubishi.
