Nissan PH releases updated Terra SUV

MANILA: Nissan Philippines officially launched the new Terra today, with availability starting tomorrow.

The seven-seater family SUV is made tougher and more versatile as it now comes with an upgraded design, high-powered performance, premium features, and advanced technology.

The new Nissan Terra comes in four variants; VL 4x4, VL 4x2 AT, VE 4x2 AT, and EL 4x2 MT.

The Terra features Nissan’s “unbreakable design language” that gives the SUV a tough, techy, and sophisticated look. The front fascia comes with the new V-motion grille with redesigned front bumper, unique C-shaped LED signature, and quad LED projector headlamps. Meanwhile, the vehicle’s width and strong look are highlighted by the new tail lamps, wide LED signatures, redesigned rear bumper, chrome center finisher, updated spoiler design, and sharkfin antenna. The exterior upgrades are complemented with new 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

The new Terra is designed with two-tone interiors which feature a new dashboard and instrument panel, a D-shaped steering wheel, a new center console design with wireless charging and e-parking brake, and a high-contrast seven-inch advanced drive assist display. It is also equipped with a Nissan nine-inch advanced touchscreen display audio that can be connected to a smartphone through Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, and an 11-inch flip-down rear monitor. The VL 4x4 variant also gets an eight-speaker Bose premium sound system.

Terra drivers can now enjoy improved maneuverability as the SUV now comes with quick steering gear ratio, four-wheel disc brakes, and rear differential lock.

More Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) features were also added to enhance overall driving safety and confidence. The Terra comes with intelligent forward collision warning, intelligent emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, while carrying over lane departure warning, blind spot warning, and intelligent rearview mirror from the previous model. The Terra VL4x4 variant’s intelligent around-view monitor also comes with moving object detection. The new Terra also has intelligent driver alertness, a segment-first feature that monitors the driver and provides alert if a break from the wheel is needed.

Aside from these NIM features, the Terra also comes with the 360 Safety Shield, a 360-degree safety system that protects every occupant from potential risks.

The new Terra is available in six exterior colors: Nebula Metallic Red, Forged Metallic Copper, Aspen Pearl White (plus P15,000), Lunar Metallic Gray, Brilliant Silver, and Galaxy Black. The VL variants feature a premium two-tone, black with burgundy interior leather trim, while the VE and VL variants are designed with black interiors.

Every purchase of the new Terra comes with a vehicle warranty of five years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.

The new Nissan Terra will be available at all Nissan dealerships nationwide starting tomorrow, September 2. Pricing starts at P1.649 million.
