Nissan PH highlights Terra in heartwarming Father's Day video

MANILA: In honor of Father's Day, Nissan Philippines has posted a heartwarming story on its official YouTube page about a hard-working dad who once labored as a taxi driver but is now a proud owner of a Nissan Terra. 

The dad, Leo Miscala, has been working hard to support his family as a taxi driver since 2003. And through his perseverance, he has managed to put his sons through college. 

His two sons, Hector and Levi, as well as his wife Michelle, knew of their dad’s dream to drive his own ride. So on their father’s birthday, they decided to surprise him with a brand-new Nissan Terra.

Nissan Terra: specifications

According to Nissan Philippines, the mid-size Terra mirrors the strong and capable spirit of Leo Miscala. 

For starters, the model is a ladder-frame sport utility vehicle (SUV) propelled by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel mill capable of producing up to 187 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque. 

Depending on the trim, the model is equipped with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic transmission. 

The one featured in Nissan's Father's Day video is the top-spec Sport, which is available with either a 4x4 or 4x2 drivetrain. 

Appearance-wise, the Nissan Terra Sport wears black-colored body parts combined with a primary body color. 

Other notable features of the Nissan Terra include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Power-adjust front seats
• Dual-zone automatic climate control
• Nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• 11-inch flip-down second-row displays
• LED exterior lighting 
• Rain-sensing wipers
• Eight-piece Bose speaker set
• Wireless smartphone charger

As of this writing, the Nissan Terra has a price range of P1.749 million to P2.469 million across six trims.
