Nissan rolls out new Navara in dealerships nationwide

MANILA: Nissan continues to make a difference in the truck category with the launch of the new Nissan Navara.  It is available for sale at all dealerships nationwide.

For its launch, the auto brand organized an adventure drive to Ilocos Norte, as a reminder of the roots of the model's Philippine market debut in 2015. 

In line with the Safe Trips campaign of Nissan with the Department of Tourism (DOT), the adventure drive, which targeted to help in increasing domestic travel, paved the way for journalists to take advantage of the power and features of the well-known pickup at the signature sand dunes of the province, along with a drive around the local tourist spots of Ilocos Norte.

The new Navara, known for its unparalleled riding comfort, provides an increased level of driving pleasure and safety, while maintaining the flexibility, dependability, and longevity for daring and bold road adventurers.  

The most innovative Navara ever developed is a culmination of more than eight decades of the brand's pickup heritage, and it remains true to the perspective of the company in delivering innovative technologies to numerous customers. 

Nissan ASEAN Regional Vice President Isao Sekiguchi explained, “The Philippines is a key market for Nissan. Today, we're showing our commitment to transform our product lineup in the Philippines with the launch of Nissan's iconic pickup nameplate, the new Navara. The new entry in the key vehicle segment in the country is an important step in the company's Nissan NEXT transformation plan".

The new Nissan Navara is a dependable companion for both leisure and work, with numerous in-class innovations, which include a range of Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety systems and features, making it the most innovative Navara ever produced. 

The new model takes pride in an “unbreakable” design language. It unveils a new ruggedly trendy and bold exterior built for extreme road conditions. 

For the first time in the Navara, the auto brand will introduce the PRO-4X grade, a style package that targets travelers and adventure enthusiasts who are looking for a means to escape the daily grind. 

The PRO-4X grade features a sporty appearance, with a black logo, orange-accented front bumper, door handles, black grille, as well as running boards and roof racks that are accented by all-terrain tires and 17-inch black wheels. 

The new model is also equipped with a new incorporated step in the rear bumper for more convenient access to the truck bed, additional truck bed volume, improved payload capacity, and strengthened rear axle.

A new steering rack is also present to improve low-speed maneuverability as well as steering responsiveness across the speed range. It is also fitted with an upgraded rear suspension with dual rate coil springs so that the vehicle can adapt to any road situation. 

Auto folding mirrors, rain sensing wipers, new 17-inch and 18-inch wheels, quad projector LED headlamps, and a rear differential lock are among the new core features of the new Navara. These provide a comfortable and quiet ride due to reduced vibration and enhanced noise isolation. 

An updated interior is highlighted by a new steering wheel with audio controls, a restyled rear bench for additional style and comfort that has adequate flexibility to suit each need, new leather and fabric seat design, a seven-inch high resolution Nissan Advanced Display Audio unit, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, multi-information and hands-free display controls. 

The Intelligent Forward Collision Warning is one of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility features for the Navara range in the Philippines. It keeps track of the vehicle ahead and the vehicle in front to minimize the possibility of collision. 

Meanwhile, Intelligent Emergency Braking applies the brakes to minimize the stress of driving in traffic, on congested streets, and to prevent accidents. 

The Intelligent Around View Monitor utilizes four cameras to aid drivers in monitoring vehicles and people approaching and surrounding the vehicle, making it more convenient to position the vehicle or park in a parallel direction when riding a trailer. 

A new feature to the system is an off-road monitor, which determines the surrounding obstacles at low speeds, especially when in four-wheel drive mode. 

Other Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety features in the Nissan Navara include the High Beam Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and the Driver Attention Alert for greater visibility and security while driving.

This make it ready to face new challenges while still providing convenience, safety, comfort, and maximum room for work-related purposes.

Nissan also provides a five-year vehicle warranty that is exclusive only for the new Nissan Navara. The five-year warranty is applicable to all new variants, which make it a distinct offering for the pickup category.
