Abroad, the BYD Tang DM-i moves in front-wheel drive configuration.

Checking the model’s specifications in its home country, the BYD Tang DM-i’s internal combustion can provide:
- Maximum output: 154 horsepower (hp)
- Peak torque: 225 Newton-meters (Nm)
On the other hand, the crossover’s permanent magnet synchronous motor has the capacity to dish out:
- Maximum output: 268 hp
- Peak torque: 315 Nm
Its top speed is up to 200 kilometers per hour while its electric mill-battery combination gives the vehicle an emissions-free range of 110 kilometers.
Further, the vehicle rides on 20-inch wheels covered in 255/50 tires and comes with disc brakes for both front and rear.
