PH-spec Chevrolet Trax, Trailblazer to be highlighted at upcoming ‘Father’s Day Auto Fest’

MANILA: The Philippine-spec Chevrolet Trax and Trailblazer will share the spotlight at the upcoming Father’s Day Auto Fest at Maple Grove in Cavite.

To be held on June 22, the program will highlight Chevrolet Philippines’ aforementioned crossovers that are part of the brand’s “Drive to Greatness Promo”.

The Golden Bowtie’s sales initiative will run until the end of June 2024.

Apart from discounts, clients can also opt for a 20-percent downpayment term with the Chevrolet Trailblazer at P29,366.56 and the Trax LT 1.2L at P52,366.56. They can also have the low monthly amortization plan with the Trailblazer LT CVT at P14,690.84, and the Trax LT 1.2L for P17,696.98 when they choose to pay the 50-percent downpayment.

The Father’s Day event will also feature a Pedal Go Kart area for children and a Food Truck and Food Bazaar zones that will provide diverse culinary choices, as well as live band performances.

Measuring 4,408 millimeters (mm) long; 1,808 mm wide; and 2,052 mm tall with a 2,640 mm wheelbase and 178 mm ground clearance, the Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in two trims (namely LT and Premier) — both powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a continuous variable transmission.

Inside, it comes with an eight-inch infotainment system that is Android Auto and Apple Carplay-ready.  

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Trax — which is 4,537 mm long; 2,035 mm wide; and up to 1,567 mm tall with a 2,700 mm wheelbase and 185 mm ground clearance — is available in three variants (LT, Redline, and RS). They are all powered by a 1.2-liter turbo gasoline mill paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Depending on the chosen option, the vehicle could be had with either an eight- or 11-inch touchscreen infotainment and a wireless charging dock.
