PH-spec Ford Territory Hybrid now more than 4k-unit strong

MANILA: The Philippine-spec Ford Territory has achieved numerous milestones a year after it was launched in the country.

Since it was unveiled in August 2025, the offering’s retail performance for the full 12 months of the year reached 4,405 units. In a statement, the Blue Oval marque’s local arm sees the achievement as a  “testament to its growing popularity among customers looking for a full hybrid vehicle that blends fuel efficiency, everyday practicality, advanced technology, and a responsive and refined driving experience.”

Aside from that, it breached the 1,000-unit sales mark in over four months after it was locally introduced.

Ford Philippines noted for January-June 2026, the model had 2,760 examples rolled out to customers, making it the best-selling small utility hybrid vehicle in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated list.

“The success of the Territory Hybrid isn’t measured solely by sales, but by the growing community of owners who make it part of their daily commute,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Pedro Simoes said.

“We celebrate these milestones with our customers and we thank them for their trust and support.”

Being an important market for the Territory Hybrid, the Philippines was the first market to launch the model across Ford’s International Markets Group in 2025. This followed the nameplate’s sustained popularity in the market since it was first launched in 2020.

Here are some tidbits about the Ford Territory Hybrid.

Vehicle specifications

Offered in two trims namely the Titanium X and Trend, the locally-retailed Ford Territory Hybrid’s retail price starts at P1.399 million.

Both trims are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor and two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, which allows owners to do up to 19.6 kilometers per liter. The powertrain is also configured to automatically recharge the. battery through regenerative braking that ultimately eliminates the need for external charging.

Apart from fuel efficiency, the model boasts spaciousness, and advanced driver-assist technologies—making it an attractive option for first-time hybrid owners seeking a practical transition toward electrified mobility.

With its first year delivering record-breaking sales and delightful experiences from its growing customer base, Ford Philippines expressed optimism on the Territory Hybrid’s sustained momentum.
