Philippines market receives Refreshed Ford Explorer Sport 2016

MANILA: Ford Philippines has introduced the refreshed version of their Explorer crossover. The design theme of the car has been drastically revised where the wrap around lights with LED inserts have acquired the position older version. The fog lamp assembly which used to be carrying age old round shape have received a boomerang shape to meet the design demand of the current generation. Along with the front, the rear and sides are also molded now. The newly designed wheels looks better now and endows a macho feel to the car’s presence. At the rear, new tail light assembly and rear spoiler gets the touches of refreshment.

The interiors are however, close to the last generation, but the inclusion of a screen is new which is connected to the camera mounted outside the car for parking assist. This camera is apt to park vehicle without getting even a single point hidden due to its 180 degree approach. This really helps in parking your car with lots being congested and narrow. Cities like Manila will be using this feature to the fullest where parking a car is one of the toughest tasks.

Under the hood resides a 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine which delivers 370 PS of power with 475 Nm of torque. Being mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, this machine completely matches with the enthusiast’s check list.
