Suzuki S-Presso Car Club PH is recognized by Suzuki PH

MANILA: Not all car clubs hold the distinction of being recognized as an official partner by the brand that they represent, but this is just the case with the Suzuki S-Presso Club Philippines (SSCP). Suzuki Philippines(SPH) welcomed the car club with a virtual recognition ceremony attended by SPH Automobile Division Vice President and General Manager Keiichi Suzuki, members of the SPH Marketing Team, and of course, members of the now officially accredited Suzuki S-Presso Car Club, headed by their president, Jasper Jerome Handog.

The S-Presso was launched in the Philippines in March 2020, right at the cusp of the pandemic lockdown, and has impressed the market not just with its affordable price tag but as well as its looks, practicality and versatility. The mini subcompact has since sold 3,897 units as of July 2021. The SSCP was started on July 12, 2020 with four founding members, aiming to provide space for all S-Presso owners to band together in appreciation of the car and to support one another. Perks such for members include discounts from various partner establishments and car dealerships. With active chapters in Bicol and Cavite, they now have a total of 616 members and continue to grow by the day. 

“As we are truly delighted to officially have the Suzuki S-Presso Club on board as our brand ambassadors,” Suzuki shared with members of the during the event, “I am very much amazed as to how we have continuously expand and grow the Suzuki family over the years. Together, as one family, we will continue to find avenues to champion the 'Suzuki way of life!'”

Suzuki Philippines has pledged its support to SSCP and has awarded the club a certificate to officially welcome it, recognizing the members for their efforts. SPH promises continuous support for SSCP events and activities, annual Christmas party events, digital promotions and service referrals to Suzuki dealerships. Japanese food was delivered and served to everyone in attendance.
