VinFast Limo Green powers Green GSM's Premium Taxi service in PH

MANILA: Green GSM has expanded its offerings with the introduction of Premium Taxi, an upscale seven-seat taxi service in the Philippines.

In a statement, the all-electric ride-hailing platform shared that the newly launched service will take advantage of the VinFast Limo Green's strengths to deliver a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

“As Green GSM's second service tier in the Philippines after Green GSM Car, Premium Taxi offers a new mobility option for groups of up to six passengers, families, business travelers, passengers carrying multiple pieces of luggage, and customers seeking a smooth ride in a pleasant and relaxing environment,” the company said.

Premium Taxi features

To make it easily recognizable on the road and distinguish it from the current Green GSM fleet, the Premium Taxi line features an all-black exterior.

Aside from the benefits of a zero-emission electric vehicle, Green GSM noted that Premium Taxi delivers a five-star service experience through “carefully selected drivers who have received high ratings for service quality.”

Fares are transparently displayed through in-vehicle meters and on the Green GSM app, allowing customers to conveniently track their fares and trip information.

Powering the VinFast Limo Green is a single electric motor in front-wheel-drive configuration, which can deliver up to:

Meanwhile, its stopping power is handled by front and rear disc brakes.

When fully charged, the vehicle can cover as much as 450 kilometers, based on New European Driving Cycle standards, on its 60.13-kilowatt-hour battery. This can be juiced up through a direct-current CCS2 port, which can increase the battery level from 10 to 70 percent in around 30 minutes.

Rollout

During the initial rollout, Premium Taxi will operate in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Pasig City, serving customers across key business districts, commercial centers, hotels, and transport hubs in Metro Manila. Customers can book a Premium Taxi via the Green GSM app, hail an available vehicle on the street, or contact the customer service hotline.

“Premium Taxi is not simply about providing more space. It is designed for journeys where comfort and attention to detail matter, from family trips and airport transfers to business engagements and special occasions,” Green GSM Philippines Chief Executive Officer Le Thi Thu Trang was quoted as saying.

“By combining the spacious interior of the VinFast Limo Green with professional drivers and Green GSM's five-star service standards, we aim to give Filipino customers a high-end mobility option that is thoughtfully delivered from the moment they book until the journey ends,” she added.

Going forward, Green GSM claimed that it will continue to enhance service quality while consistently upholding its “5 Green Promises,” with standards of professionalism, transparency, and attentive customer care, thereby contributing to greener urban transportation.
