Visitors of Summer Test Drive Festival can experience Hyundai Ioniq 5

MANILA: For the 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival, Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc (HMPH) will be present at Block 19 of the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds through Sunday, May 7. The Creta, Stargazer, Staria, Tucson, and even the carmaker's flagship all-electric vehicle, the Ioniq 5, are among the Hyundai models that are available for test drives in this installment.

“Hyundai is thrilled to once again be a part of Autofocus’ bi-yearly activity, as it enables us to connect with more customers and provide them access to the latest cars and innovations that we have to offer. Technically, this is our second time participating under the management of HMPH. We couldn’t be more eager though to utilize this opportunity to continue sharing our campaign on uplifting the quality of life among Filipino motorists through smarter mobility options,” according to Cecil Capacete, Managing Director of HMPH.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6, which was officially unveiled in April and is a contender for the 2023 World Car of the Year, will be on full show. Not only is it praised for its sleek appearance, but also for its 545-kilometer range and patented ability to charge in both directions. Visitors may view it in metal and more interactively learn about its vehicle-to-load (V2L) function while it powers up an ice cream shop. Upon registration, guests can enjoy free frozen desserts that are ideal for the warm weather.

Additionally, during the four-day event, test drives of the IONIQ 5, which is already on sale in the market, will be possible. This is due to the fact that seeing this crossover utility vehicle (CUV) in all of its magnificence is the only way to truly understand why it won the title of 2022 World Car of the Year. This was Hyundai's first model to debut the company's ground-breaking Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and integrated power electric system, which were noted for their striking design and spaciousness. The latter developed into the initial multiple-charging (400V/800V) technology with a variety of power conversion features. The Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) function is one of them, and it will also be demonstrated to visitors on the ground so they may learn more about it.

Customers who schedule a test drive are eligible to receive a golf umbrella with the Hyundai logo, while those who make a reservation at the location will receive a P10,000 discount coupon.
