MANILA: Yamaha Motor will showcase the newly redesigned MT-09 at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) 2023 held from today until November 13 in Milan, Italy.

The 2024 MT-09 was based on The Knight Horse concept, improving upon the ride quality of The Rodeo Master which has been advocated to date. The torque and agile character has been further enhanced.

Another major upgrade is the new engine suspension, which is now more rigid. The rigidity around the front, however, was slightly reduced for better balance of stability and nimbleness.

The MT-09 is now fitted with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tires. It also features a new riding position and newly designed tank and lights with flashers.

For further riding convenience, the motorcycle now comes with Yamaha Ride Control, cruise control, a five-inch full color instrument panel with connectivity functions, and Type-C USB ports.

According to Yamaha, the new MT-09 will be launched in Japan next year.
