MANILA: Suzuki Philippines has recently updated its three lightweight sports bikes with fuel injection system which was showcased at the Tagaytay International Convention Center. Yes, the manufacturer has revealed the all-new Raider R150 Fi and two models of GSX series - GSX-R150 and GSX-S150. The bikes were revealed on the 8th-anniversary celebration of Motorsiklo Xklusibo and here are the details of the three bikes.

Raider R150 Fi

Raider 150 Fi

The Raider gets a new instrument cluster which is inspired by the Suzuki GSX-S1000 sport bike and gets a key shutter, tubeless tires, petal disc brakes and an improved mini storage space beneath the seat. The Raider is one of the oldest players of Suzuki competing in the underbone segment of the country, which is powered by a 150cc DOHC liquid-cooled four valves engine that is now equipped with fuel injection. It is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 18.6 PS at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 8500 rpm. The engine is further coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Raider R150 Fi is priced at Php 109,900 and will be available along with the standard R150.

GSX Series

Tagged with the much-acclaimed GSX badging, both the bikes had to offer sporty performance and Suzuki has made quite a justice to it. The heart of both the bikes is a 150cc single cylinder, water-cooled 4-valve DOHC engine which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 19.2 PS at 10,500 rpm and peak torque of 14.0 Nm at 9000 rpm. Further, it is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission.

GSX-R150

Considering the GSX-R150, it features petal disc brakes, dual exit exhaust muffler and LED headlight. The vital information of the bike is displayed on the fully digital instrument panel and comes with a keyless ignition system with a remote control. It has an answer back function that works within 20 meters and also features Suzuki Easy Start System. The R150 is priced at Php 156,000 and available in Black and MotoGP Edition.

GSX-S150

The GSX-S150 has similar features with the only difference of its naked styling to highlight the engine and frame in an effective manner. It is priced at Php 112,800 and available in Silver, Black, and MotoGP Edition. All the three bikes are offered with new color options and decals that gives a sense of refreshment to the lineup. The riders at the event were treated to prizes and Suzuki owners were given Free Service by the Suzuki WOW Mobile at the After Sales booth of the company.  In order to complete the treat to riders, two Raider R150s were offered, a carburetor and a fuel-injected model.
