Electric dreams: BYD Atto 3’s 4 electrifying colors

A few months ago, BYD Philippines launched the Atto 3 here in the country. 

Not only did the Ayala-led car brand prove that an electric vehicle (EV) can make it from Bonifacio Global City to Baguio — with very little to no recharging in between — but it also showed that it can be done in style. 

On that note, we take a quick look at the four electrifying colors of the BYD Atto 3.

Surf Blue 

Surf Blue is a metallic hue that represents the crossover’s electric nature. 

The BYD Atto 3 packs a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces some 201 horsepower with 310 Newton-meters of torque. 

On paper, the reliable BYD Blade batter can provide owners of the Atto 3 approximately 480 kilometers of emissions free driving on a single charge. 

Parkour Red 

Just like the athletic training discipline, this exciting and emotional color makes the BYD Atto 3 look naturally nimble. 

Complementing the aforementioned electric powertrain system is a reliable suspension setup. Supporting the BYD Atto 3 is a MacPherson strut at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear. 

The result is a more pliable drive with decent comfort in different terrains and conditions. 

Boulder Gray 

Gray is a color that can make almost any vehicle look good even with less frequent washing. 

The BYD Atto 3 looks handsome in this gray paint. It makes various appliques — like the chrome trims on its bodywork — stand out and give the crossover a more luxurious appeal. 

Ski White 

Often considered a color connected to safety, white befits the technologically-packed BYD Atto 3.

Its robust list of safety features include a slew of airbags and seatbelts, an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, a traction control system, hill descent control, and a 360-degree view camera, just to name a few.

BYD Atto 3 variants, pricing

The BYD Atto 3 is offered in two variants: Standard Range and Extended Range.

They are priced at P1.598 million and P1.798 million, respectively.
