Powertrain

The old Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B engine that produces up to 103 horsepower (ho) and 138 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. This engine is mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant.

On the other hand, the new Ertiga is driven by a hybrid system composed of a 1.5-liter petrol engine and an integrated starter generator that takes the role of the traditional alternator in charging the battery and electric motor, while assisting with standing starts and acceleration. Just like its predecessor, the Ertiga Hybrid is available in five-speed manual and four-speed automatic variants.
