2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer available for sale in the country

MANILA: After confirming the arrival of updated 2017 Trailblazer this year, the American automaker has finally made the SUV available for the customers in the Philippines. According to the Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the country has announced that the updated Chevrolet Trailblazer is now on sale, which was previously speculated to make its entry by the end of this year. 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be taking on the likes of Ford Everest, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Isuzu mu-X and Toyota Fortuner. With a restyled front fascia, and refreshed interior, the updated Trailblazer looks sporty and much more capable.

The new Trailblazer now feature a more angular look than its predecessor. The sharp headlights with LED daytime running lights, wide dual-port grille and aggressive bumper hint towards the sporty nature of this SUV. The top model is finished with 18-inch gunmetal wheel which further aggrandize the bold and composed stance of Trailblazer. The new Trailblazer is offered in 7 exterior color option: Pull Me Over Red, Summit White, Mountain Blue, Auburn Brown, Switchblade Silver, Satin Steel Grey, and Black Meet Kettle. The changes in the cabin include a redesigned dashboard and centre console. The centre console now features two small round knobs and different buttons for various air conditioning modes. The soft touch material along with silver trims now give a more plush look to the interior.

The other features include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone compatibility, voice recognition software and Siri Eyes Free.  The Trailblazer also features a remote engine start now along with safety features like Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Start Assist (HAS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), driver and passenger airbags.

Considering the 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer prices, the base variant, 2.5L LT MT is tagged at Php 1,378,888. The bigger engine displacement variant, 2.8L AT has a price of Php 1,509,888 while 2.8L Z71 AT is available at Php 1,881,888. Further, the 2017 Trailblazer will be available for test drive at Chevrolet’s 2016 Motorama event, which is going to be held at different malls in the country.
