2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer To Arrive By December 2016 In The Philippines

MANILA: There was no news from Chevrolet from past one month and last we heard anything from this American brand was for the launch of Chevy Sail 2016 on the Filipino soil. So after the said break, the brand is again hitting the headlines for the new Trailblazer which will be for the year 2017. Chevy revealed the concept of its new Trailblazer during Bangkok International Motor Show held earlier this year which was further followed by the launch of the production model in Brazil. The newest edition saw its global debut in Brazil while the Chevrolet Thailand was the first ASEAN country to have the new edition. Well, in past almost 6 months, Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 saw various phases from concept to production model and showcase to launch and now it is time for the arrival in various countries including the Philippines.

So, the latest we know is that the 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer is arriving in our country in December 2016, which was pretty much speculated. With that, we also got to know few details about this car which we have borrowed from our neighboring country where this drive is already available. Talking about the styling first, the new Trailblazer has been given a complete renovation with reshaped headlamps and incorporated daytime running lights. The grille looks little wider and the front bumper is also revised for larger air intakes. While the drive carries the same creases and stance at side profile as the outgoing model, the tweaked rear bumper and tail lights surely give a refreshed appearance to the rear, just like the front.

The cabin has also been given similar refreshments to make it compatible with the exterior. Chevy has now incorporated Apple CarPlay in the new Trailblazer while there is Chevy signature MyLink infotainment system available in the drive to keep the fun going on during drives. With these aspects, the safety is also enhanced and the new model is packed with a wide range to advanced protective features including driver's knee airbag, Hill Start Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Side Blind Zone Alert and Lane Departure Alert.

Coming to the power-unit of new Trailblazer, the company has not revealed anything for the Philippines-bound model but it will either house a 2.5-litre Duramax turbodiesel unit just like the Thai-spec model or a 2.8-litre Duramax which is given to the Brazilian model. Though the company officials have kept their lips sealed on any further information on the new model, but we believe with the PIMS 2016 approaching next month, we can have a glimpse of this 2017 Trailblazer with some more concrete details.
