2020 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia will be priced at Php 2.42 million

MANILA: The Filipinos have some serious love for vans, don’t they? Giving back to the Philippine affection for them, Toyota recently unveiled the all-new 2020 Hiace van in the country. Now, to expand the Hiace lineup, the Japanese automaker is all set to launch the more luxurious 2020 Hiace Super Grandia.

The launch event will take place on August 19, later this month. For those who are still unfamiliar with the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia, the van is essentially an affordable luxurious model of the Hiace. It fits the bill just right for those who want the taste of both the Hiace and Alphard.

The 2020 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia is said to arrive in six different variants. Moreover, the only differentiating elements would be the color options, creature comforts, and upholstery. As sources suggest, all six variants are going to be identical on the mechanical front. Speaking more about the mechanical stuff, the van should be powered by a 2.8-litre engine that makes 163 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 450 Nm. This is the same motor that powers the GL Grandia as well. A six-speed automatic transmission will be taking care of the power delivery duties on all of the six variants.

The upmarket and luxurious features on the 2020 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia will include four captain seats, dual power-sliding doors, and quilted-leather upholstery. The base trims, however, will feature fabric upholstery. The van will be offered in Luxury Pearl Toning, Black, Gray Metallic, and White Pearl Crystal Shine color options. Also, customers will be able to choose the interior color for their Super Grandia according to their taste.

The 2020 Toyota Hiace Super Grandia will boast some serious safety equipment that will include up to nine SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and most importantly, the Toyota Safety Sense. The van will also come sporting headlamp washers, rear camera, and LED lighting all-around.

• 2020 Hiace Super Grandia 2.8L Leather - Php 2,510,000
• 2020 Hiace Super Grandia 2.8L Fabric 2-Tone - Php 2,435,000
• 2020 Hiace Super Grandia 2.8L Fabric - Php 2,420,000
