2021 Kia Sorento leaked, official debut on February 17

MANILA: Kia seems to be focused on flooding its portfolio with SUVs and crossovers. So much so that the South Korena automaker is continuously rolling out both new and revisited models to take on the rivals and clinch on to a larger market share in different regions around the globe. In today's story, we have news regarding the upcoming 2021 Kia Sorento, which has been leaked inside out on Instagram. In the four images that have gone viral, we can see the front end, rear end, and the interior of the soon to be launched mid-size SUV.

Having a good look at the leaked images, we find that the all-new 2021 Kia Sorento features the automaker's trademark "Tiger Nose" front grille with a U-shaped pattern. The stylish grille is flanked by a pair of large upswept LED headlamps with chrome surrounds. Moving on to the rear end, there is a nice-looking pair of two-bar taillights.

The other image, which reveals the cabin of the 2021 Kia Sorento, lets us know that the new Sorento will feature a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, vertical air-con vents, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with audio, telephony, and cruise controls. So, when does the newest iteration of the Kia Sorento comes out then?

According to The Korean Car Blog, the 2021 Kia Sorento will step on the podium on the 17th of February 2020, and that will also be the day when the South Korean automaker opens the order books for the revamped mid-size SUV. Also, Kia has already made it public that the updated Sorento will also be on offer with both hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. A hydrogen fuel cell variant should also join the lineup soon enough in the future.

Kia has been witnessing some sweet times in the Philippines ever since it joined Ayala. The testament of the fact is the 124% increase in the South Korean automaker's sales figures in the country on a year-on-year basis. And, with Kia doing so well in the country, we should see the 2021 Sorento joining the Philippine lineup soon after its launch.
