All-in battery packages, new premium cabin filter available for select Ford models

MANILA: Ford Philippines recently launched an all-in battery package and a new premium cabin filter for select models.

The all-in battery package is available for the Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta, Ford EcoSport, Ford Ranger, and Ford Everest. All parts and labor costs included in the package automatically come with a 24-month warranty. Pricing starts at P6,300.

Meanwhile, the Motorcraft micronAir proTect Cabin Filter is available for Ranger and Everest models (model year 2015 onwards). This premium cabin filter provides high-grade filtering function at a competitive price point. It is effective against nearly 100% of allergens with a diameter of two microns or larger, and against small micro-organisms such as bacteria and fungal spores. It can also filter out threats inside the vehicle with 99.9% effectiveness at inactivating viruses such as Swine Flu (H1N1) and HCov-229E which come in touch with the special active layer.

Follow the regular PMS schedule.

Ford vehicle owners are encouraged to follow their periodic maintenance service (PMS) schedule. This is especially vital for those who have not driven their Ford vehicles in a while. Qualified Ford technicians use Ford-approved fluids, filters, and genuine parts during these inspections.

Be familiarized with the Vehicle Report Card.

The Vehicle Report Card (VRC) is a detailed health check summary of a car’s key wear-and-tear parts and systems. It will be given to the car owners every time they leave their Ford vehicle at a dealership to let them know which parts require immediate replacement.

Look after the vehicle parts.

It is also important to look after the vehicle’s replaceable parts which, by design, must be replaced more frequently than others. With the rainy season and the ongoing pandemic, it is more important than ever to change car battery and air cabin filter.
