Champion of the ‘Truck King Battle’ is Mitsubishi Strada

MANILA: A high-roof gaming zone with all the required equipment and some large screens is the Mitsubishi L200 eSports. Called the Strada in the Philippines, this modified pickup truck is on another level, and the man behind the insanity is Joanne Tulloch, Sales Administrator at Livery Dole Mitsubishi in Exeter.

The pickup also receives a high-power audio system, bespoke seating, distinctive lighting, and a refreshment bar. Competing for the title were Mitsubishi dealers from Europe. Many UK dealer staff members designed their concept based on the L200 and top five were converted into lifelike renderings.

The manufacturer posted the renders on the social media channels in Europe. The announcement of the winner was made on 21 March 2019 by Mitsubishi Motors at the UK’s annual dealer conference. Joanne Tulloch, Sales Administrator, Livery Dole Mitsubishi said “I am so proud that my design was chosen for the final five,

let alone driving the highest engagement levels on social media. The design was inspired by my husband and family, we are all gamers and the design reflects what our ultimate Mitsubishi L200 would look like. I am so excited to see the final truck, I can’t wait”. A real-life truck will now be produced based on the concept and render of the Mitsubishi L200 eSports.

This amazing version of the Strada will be unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, April 30 – May 2 2019. “The five finalist’s designs were all fantastic and demonstrated the versatility of the Mitsubishi L200 and the creativity of the staff within our Mitsubishi UK Dealer Network.
