Ford PH goes Ranger Raptor-big with worry-free ownership, raffle of 5 units

MANILA: Ford Philippines has truly gone big with Ford Ranger Raptor, the alpha dog of its popular Ranger pickup line, and Filipino car buyers have veritably put their imprimatur on the model to the tune of more than 10,000 units sold here – an incredible number by any standard. 

“This huge success for the Ranger Raptor is a testament to its consistent and growing popularity in the Philippines,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director PK Umashankar. “We thank our customers for choosing the Ranger Raptor and for being part of the growing community of performance pick-up enthusiasts in the country.”

The company is expressing its gratitude over the warm market reception to the pickup through its Ranger Raptor Premium Care Program – which extends a free five-year scheduled service maintenance package, a five-year vehicle warranty (with an additional two years tacked onto the standard three-year warranty), and free five-year emergency roadside assistance. This worry-free ownership add-on, valid on purchases until December 31, 2020, represents a P100,000 value.

And that’s not all. 

Ford Philippines is also rolling out its “Ranger Raptor Raffle” for the holiday season. Also valid until December 31, 2020, customers who purchase any Ford vehicle from Ford dealerships nationwide earn a raffle entry that will give them a chance to win a brand-new Ranger Raptor. Purchases made through an EastWest Bank auto loan earns two raffle entries. 

Up for grab are five Ranger Raptor vehicles, or up to P10 million worth of prizes. These prizes are tax-free. 

“The Ranger Raptor Raffle promo is our way of celebrating our 10,000 Raptor owner milestone as we want more Filipino customers to own and drive the Ranger Raptor and enjoy its segment-leading features and capabilities,” added Umashankar.

Last year, the Ranger Raptor accounted for over 40% of total Ranger sales in the country. Ford reports that the Philippines “has become the leading contributor in total Ranger Raptor sales across ASEAN markets with a 64% share and across Ford’s International Markets Group with a 37% market share over the past two years.”
