Iron Man edition Hyundai Kona is here, a treat for Marvel fans

MANILA: Sporty cars aren’t restricted to the millionaires and billionaires only. The Hyundai Kona is one such vehicle meant to be sporty but can be afforded by almost all automobile buyers. And if the standard Kona wasn’t enough to woo you, here is the new Iron Man Edition, a car straight out of the Marvel movies.

The special Iron Man edition Hyundai Kona is developed as a joint project with Marvel Studio and will have a limited run, which would only be a built-to-order model. The design of the car is made especially to pay homage to the Iron Man suit from the Avenger movies.

Up front, the DRLs and headlamps look very similar to the eye mask from the legendary Iron Man suit, precisely the helmet that Tony Stark uses. The front section has a V-shape garnishing on the hood, Stark Industries decals, and dedicated badge on the front fenders. The car rides on 18-inch wheels that are designed to be like the mask centre cap. The body shade includes the color from the Iron Man suit, that is Matte Grey and Red, along with dark chrome in places.

On the inside, there is the signature of Tony Stark on the dash up front. The gear shift knob and seats are unique and there are some Iron Man graphics on the instrument centre.

The Hyundai Kona Iron Man edition is a fulfilment for many automobile buyers who have grown up reading the superhero comics, especially those from the Marvel Comics. Any special edition car built on the theme of superheroes would definitely increase the overall worth, especially among the youth these days.
