Chinese SUV receives 87.67 points from assessors after undergoing 2021-2025 protocol
MANILA: The Jetour T1 has received a five-star rating from the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP).

Such results came out after the Jetour T2 was given the same rating after it underwent the 2021-2025 protocol.
The ASEAN NCAP attributed Jetour T1’s scores to its numerous safety features like the six airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking system, seatbelt reminder system for front and rear occupants, rear seat detection, child presence detection, ISOFIX for child safety seats, blind spot detection for the driver- and front passenger-side, and pedestrian protection.

Unveiled in the Philippines last October, the Jetour T1 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain made up of a 1.5-liter inline-four gasoline-powered engine, an electric motor, and a 26.7-kilowatt-hour battery.
