Li Auto to open 2 more dealerships in 2025

MANILA: Li Auto Philippines will open two more dealerships in the country, following the recent inauguration of its showroom in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 

The company’s Marketing Director, Emma Qiao, told Zigwheels Philippines that the Chinese carmaker will expand its reach in the country by adding two more facilities to its network this year. 

“In the Philippines, we have a very ambitious plan here. For this year, we will have two more showrooms opening in Manila,” Qiao said in an interview. 

“We will have our second showroom at MOA (SM Mall of Asia), it is already under construction. The next one will be a secret,” she added. 

1st in Southeast Asia 

Li Auto BGC is not only the brand’s first showroom in the Philippines, but also its first in Southeast Asia. 

When asked why Li Auto chose the Philippines, the marque’s Public Relations Manager Yani Cardiño told the author that the brand saw how progressive the automotive industry in the country is. 

Further, Filipinos, who by nature are family-oriented, are a good market for the automaker, which touts its offerings as family-friendly sport utility vehicles (SUV). 

“We really saw how progressive the automotive industry is here in the country. We want to provide additional mobility solutions, particularly to moderate families. At the same time, the Philippines is very family-oriented, which strongly resonates with our brand mission,” Cardiño told the publication. 

Li Auto’s initial lineup in the Philippines consist of the Li L7 five-seater and L9 six-seater SUVs. The two were presented during the company’s BGC showroom opening ceremony alongside the previewed Li Mega multi-purpose vehicle. 

Here is a quick look at their hybrid powertrain specifications: 

• Maximum power output: 449 horsepower 
• Maximum torque: 620 Newton-meters

The Li L7 has an estimated range of 1,421 kilometers (km) while the L9 has an estimated range of 1,412 km. 

The Li Auto L7 and L9 are both offered in two variants. Below are their price tags:

Pro: P3.89 million	Pro: P5.19 million
Ultra: P4.49 million	Ultra: P5.49 million

300-unit target for 2025 

Further, Qiao shared that the company is eyeing to sell 300 units for 2025.

“For this year, our sales volume target is at 300 units here in the Philippines,” the Li Auto Marketing Director commented. 

Qiao also mentioned that the company will have facilities to support the servicing of the units they intend to sell. 

“We will have our own fast charging station this year, and service centers, so we can look forward to that,” she added.
