MG PH rolls out special parts discount for Cebuanos affected by Typhoon Tino

MANILA: Morris Garages (MG) Philippines rolled out a special parts discount initiative for its customers in Cebu who were affected by Typhoon Tino. 

Per the local wing of the SAIC-owned English brand, MG owners who have suffered from the floods will be eligible to receive a discount of up to 30 percent on select parts until November 30, 2025. 

The said program, MG Philippines noted, is offered as a gesture of goodwill and care for its customers during these trying times. 

“MG Philippines expresses its heartfelt concern and solidarity with all Cebuanos who have been gravely affected by the devastation brought by Typhoon Tino. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and communities facing this difficult time,” the company wrote in a press release.

Test drive for a cause

In addition to providing special discounts for its Cebuano customers, MG Philippines will stage a test drive for a cause program, wherein the brand will donate P1,000 for every test drive conducted at any of its three Cebu dealerships listed below: 

• MG Mandaue
• MG Cebu Central 
• MG Talisay 

According to MG Philippines, all proceeds will be turned over to a local foundation dedicated to supporting recovery and relief efforts for those most affected by the typhoon. 

“Through these efforts, MG Philippines reaffirms its commitment to stand with the people of Cebu — not just as a brand, but as a community partner that genuinely cares. Together, we will rebuild, recover, and rise stronger than ever,” the local wing of the carmaker said.
