MIAS 2025: Suzuki PH rolls out all-new Dzire Hybrid

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated has officially launched the all-new Dzire Hybrid subcompact sedan at the ongoing Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025.

The next-generation sedan’s local launch comes a year after its initial global debut in India last year. 

"We are proud to unveil the all-new Dzire Hybird - a vehicle designed to give every Filipino a stylish yet practical driving experience," Suzuki Philippines General Manager for Automobile Division Norihide Takei said. 

"With advanced features, hybrid efficiency, and premium styling, it redefines what a compact sedan can be," Takei added. 

So, what can prospective buyers expect from the newly launched nameplate?

Exterior

The all-new Suzuki Dzire Hybrid has evolved from its rounded edges to have a sharper, more modern design. 

For example, it now bears angular LED lighting details, a much wider grille, and more angular bumpers. The vehicle also wears a set of 15-inch tires.

Interior

Inside, the subcompact sedan features fabric upholstery and a seating arrangement with sufficient room for up to five occupants. 

Positioned in the middle of its dashboard is a nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the model has several USB charging ports and a 12-volt outlet.

Concerning practicality, the model has a good amount of cubby holes for knickknacks, cupholders, and bottle holders. Plus, its trunk can swallow up to 378 liters in cargo.  

Safety

The latest iteration of the Suzuki Dzire was kitted out with an extensive set of safety gear. Specifically, it was fitted with anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution, stability control, and a total of six airbags. 

Powertrain

Propelling the all-new Suzuki Dzire is a 1.2-liter, inline-3 gasoline engine paired with a 12-volt hybrid system. Output-wise, it is capable of producing up to 80 horsepower and 111.7 Newton-meters of torque. The said four-banger is paired with a continuously variable transmission.

Ensuring ride quality for the subcompact sedan is a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension. Stopping power, meanwhile, is provided by front disc brakes and a rear drum brake.

Besides the all-new Suzuki Dzire, the car brand also showcased the likes of the Jimny 3-door and 5-door, the XL7 Hybrid, and the Spresso. 

This year's Suzuki MIAS booth also features interactive activities and a special Suzuki Safety Scouts area - an educational space for children to learn more about road safety.
