Mitsubishi PH launches limited-run Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has unveiled the limited-edition version of the Xpander Cross.

Dubbed the Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition, the exclusive version of the Mitsubishi’s multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) has embraced a rugged sport utility vehicle image, thanks to the added features that is fitted with.

The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition comes with exterior appointments that is visually appealing and beneficial on rough roads. Its new accessories include a tailgate spoiler, tailgate garnish, mud guard, and rear bumper protector.

In addition, the vehicle is offered in Green Bronze Metallic — a new body color option — that is solely available for the newly-launched trim.  

Per MMPC, it will only retail 300 units of the Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition since the start of October — with a price tag of P1.363 million.

“With the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition, you can redefine your family's outdoor adventures, embracing a lifestyle that is active, adventurous, and uniquely yours. Whether it's a spontaneous weekend camping trip or a planned family expedition, this vehicle is designed to accommodate your active family lifestyle,” MMPC said in a statement.

To note, the latest iteration of the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross made its local debut early this year.

Powering the refreshed Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is a 1.5-liter Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system, double overhead cam 16-valve engine matched to a four-speed automatic transmission.

Its launch pricing ranges from P1.328 million (monotone variants), P1.338 million (Sunrise Orange Metallic), up to P1.353 million (Quartz White Pearl).

Mitsubishi X Ogawa

Relatedly, Mitsubishi Motors has forged a collaboration with Ogawa that would further showcase the lifestyle that the Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition provides.

The exclusive Ogawa gears and items include:

• Side tarp tent
• Two camping chairs with travel case
• Mesh table (adjustable height) with carrying bag

All these Ogawa accessories are highly functional, compact and easy to deploy for the convenience and enjoyment of the family during outdoor activities.
