Mitsubishi Strada GT Comes With MIVEC Engine - Price Starts At PhP 1,570,000

MANILA: Mitsubishi Philippines is pretty active these days. After introducing a new engine in its 2016 Pajero just a countable days ago, the Japanese giant Mitsubishi has introduced its Strada pickup with a new MIVEC diesel power unit which is capable of delivering better performance and efficiency. The latest Mitsubishi Strada GT is now available with a 2.4-litre engine along with a number of modifications to match with the needs of the prospective customers. The new model looks more robust and attractive in styling in comparison to the models already available for the Philippines automotive market.

Talking about the engine first, the new Mitsubishi Strada GT is packed with a 2.4-litre engine, as aforementioned, with VVT technology to boost the performance. This power unit is capable of throwing out a peak power worth 181 PS along with a peak torque showing 430 Nm making it absolutely compatible for off-roadings. Sitting on the top of the trims, the new Strada GT variant is in compliance with the Euro-4 emission standards set by the authorities ensuring the best of fuel efficiency with lesser carbon emission. This is the same engine which is available in the Mitsubishi Montero Sport available for the Filipinos. This diesel engine is mated with 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission unlike 8-speed automatic gearbox like the Montero Sport.

Coming to the styling part now, the new variant has received some cosmetic changes in comparison to the other available Strada trims for a distinction. The Strada GT is blessed with a black grille, dual-tone wheels and silver fenders flares to create a unique stance on the road. Apart from these features, there are Ralliart skidplate, bed mounted rollbar and brush guard at the exterior of this drive adding more aesthetics to it. The 5-seater pickup comes with leather wrapped seats for more comfort and added elegance.
