Now you can have a Lego set of Ford Mustang from the 60s

MANILA: Are you a Lego fan or collector? Do you also like retro cars? Well, you are in for a treat today then. The newest product by Lego, dubbed as the “Lego Creator Ford Mustang”, is a perfect thing of joy for the people who love both Lego sets and retro cars.

The 1960s Mustang that is formed using the 1,471 pieces is of “fastback” body style also gets a highly-detailed 6.4-litre V8 motor with hoses, air filter, and a battery. Other special inclusions are working doors, full interior, and a removable roof panel.

The scale model replica has been developed by Lego in conjunction with the Ford Motor Company and resembles the first-generation of the Mustang due to its slippery shape. The paint is a dark blue hue along with 'go faster' racing stripes.

Stuff like five-spoke wheels clothed with real rubber tires, large hood scoop, circular headlights, and tri-bar taillights with GT 'badging' on the trunk which helps the replica in providing a nostalgic appeal of the 60s. The creator set does not end there as it also gets numerous elements for customising the car like adjustable lift for the rear axle, various license plates supercharger kit the goes on top of the hood, rear ducktail spoiler, and larger exhaust pipes.

Making things even more interesting and exciting, there are elements like big steering wheel, old-school radio, heavily-bolstered seats, dual gauges, and a mid-console gear shifter on the inside of the replica. Want some more thrill? Well, there is also a nitrous oxide tank placed on the trunk, how about that?

The Lego set can be purchased starting 1 March 2019 from both retails stores and Lego’s online shop. The price of the “Lego Creator Ford Mustang” is $ 149.99 which translates to roughly Php 7782.
