Ranger, Everest spearhead Ford PH H1 2024 sales output

MANILA: Ford Philippines has sold a total of 14,460 units in the first six months 2024.

According to Dearborn-headquartered marque’s arm in the country, its January-June 2024 retail performance was driven by the Ford Ranger and Everest models — with the former selling 6,872 examples and the latter having 4,536 units.

Compared to the same period last year, Ford Philippines enjoyed a 29-percent increase for the pick-up truck and 20-percent rise on the midsize sport utility vehicle.

Providing additional thrust to the company’s overall sales is the Ford Territory’s 2,771-unit output.

The Blue Oval noted that its all-new Mustang and Bronco turned over more than 130 units — with more customers expected to receive their orders in the coming months.

To note, the two newly-launched models were launched recently as part of the firm’s bid to reinforce Ford’s presence in the off-road and performance vehicle segments in the country.

The iconic sports car’s latest version in the Philippine market comes in the two variants: the 5.0L GT Premium and the 2.3L EcoBoost Premium.

On the other hand, the all-new Ford Bronco — which boasts a rugged design, powerful performance, and advanced off-roading capabilities — is being offered in Outer Banks variant with Sasquatch Package.

“We are pleased with our sales performance for the first six months of the year driven by the continued demand for our best-selling Ford vehicles, with the addition of the All-New Mustang and All-New Bronco which were received warmly by our customers,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen was quoted as saying.

 “We are excited to sustain the momentum through the next half of the year as we continue to enhance the Ford ownership experience,” he added.
