Toyota Fortuner TRD Is The Eye Candy At Toyota’s Booth

MANILA: Toyota has created a lot of buzz through its updated 86 and the FT-1 concept in the ongoing 6th Philippine International Motor Show but, another prominent model which has become a center of attraction for the visitors is the sturdy SUV from Toyota. The Toyota Fortuner TRD with custom bodykit, and suspension system has made the Fortuner even more aggressive and sturdy. The TRD Sportivo Kit offered in the Philippines is way different from the one available in Thailand.

At front, the black matte grille with TRD badging, chin spoiler and chrome accents finished in matte black and skid plate finished in red all together improves the sporty appeal of the SUV. At the side, the new 18-inch black alloy wheels, along TRD decals and stepboards for easy ingress/ egress are some other notable changes. At the rear, the Fortuner receives a new roof mounted spoiler, new cladding over the rear bumper with matte black trim, custom exhaust pipe finisher with carbon finish and a TRD fuel cap and an additional TRD badging.

Apart from these standard features, TRD upgrades also include a front lower grille cover, red TRD emblem, oil filter, magnetic drain bolt, oil filter cap and a TRD shift knob. For the suspension upgrade a buyer has to pay PhP 428,300 while for the 18-inch alloy wheels the pricing is PhP 232,800.
